Goal

Intensive Recovery

SAA is a 12-step fellowship program designed to help individuals who struggle with sex addiction. It provides a supportive and confidential environment for people to share their experiences, strengths, and hope with others facing similar challenges. We follow the principles of the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions originally formulated by Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and have been adapted to address sex addiction. You’ll be suprised before you’re halfway through!

The Foundation

This is the description of the problem and the solution as we see it. All of this is taken from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous and has been adapted to this visual presentation for our members.

BBQ Dinners

Recovery and food is a great fellowship opportunity! On Friday evening we BBQ all sorts of various meats and Saturday evening is hot dogs and hamburgers. We have members of our fellowship that are considered “pitmasters,” this is an experience you must not miss!

Our Recovery Space

The retreats have gotten progressively larger over the last few years to where we need more space. The recently constructed Hope Building is uniquely qualified to host our retreat this year. The common area will be used for recovery classes all day Saturday and Sunday morning.

Evening Bonfires

The nights are cold in late October and the bonfires on Friday and Saturday are a great way to meet other members from different groups. In the past years we’ve had members attend from other groups in the metroplex, in Texas, across the country and even international members! How cool is that?!

"Our commitment is to help others recover from sexual addiction, just as we have been helped.”

We, in our turn, sought the same escape with all the desperation of drowning men.
